The King's Christmas List

I was given the opportunity to review this new children's book by Eldon Johnson. I read it last night to my twin 5 year old sons. Here's what we thought of the book.

LIKES

*it teaches kids about giving

*it is a modern-day good samaritan story

*it's okay to give stuff you really like away

*the book has a greater cause

*Jesus' gift was the best gift ever

DISLIKES

*this is geared towards little girls (I wish it was more gender neutral)

That being said, the main idea is a great lesson for kids of all ages. I hope to read this book again closer to Christmas time and put into practice some of the suggestions.
